Reservations

   Q:   How do I make my room reservation ?

   A:  To make reservations, please use our Secured Online Reservation Form available on this website. Please ensure that you furnished all the required information as    specified on the Reservation Form.

 
Q. When I submit my reservation form, where does my request go?
A. It will go to our Reservation Department.
 
Q. How long will it take the Hotel to respond to my reservation request?
A.
Within 24 hours and not later than 36 hours. If you do not receive your respond with 36 hours, please e-mail back to us at suriahotelsdnbhd@gmail.com
 
Q. I don't have 24 hours to wait for confirmation. What can I do?
A.
You may e-mail to us at suriahotelsdnbhd@gmail.com or suriahotelsdnbhd@yahoo.com or the e-mail available on the website.
 
Q. What happen if after 36 hours we do not receive any respond from you?
A.
As you are aware this booking is via online and there are many possible factor that your reservation does not reached us may be due to server’s error or due to some other technical problem. Please e-mail back to us at suriahotelsdnbhd@gmail.com or suriahotelsdnbhd@yahoo.com to enquire about your reservation.
 
Q. How do I know my reservation is confirmed?
A.
When you received our acknowledgement via the e-mail or fax within 24 hours and not later than 36 hours. Reservations are deemed secured if guaranteed with credit card or a prepaid Cash Deposit into the hotel's Bank Account.
 
Q. After filling up and submission of my Reservation Form how do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
A. Within 24 hours and not later than 36 hours, you will be contacted by e- mail informing you on the status of your reservation.
 
Q.
How do you respond back to us on our confirmation ?
A.
We shall be responding back to you via e-mail. We do not call or we do not fax to you unless requested to do so. Please ensure that you furnish to us an accurate e-mail address/es.
 
Q. We seem to unable to locate your telephone number on this website ?
A.
This website and the rates displayed on this website are specially formulated for Internet Booking Only. Guest that calls in at the hotel shall not be entitled to our Internet Promotional Rates. This is the reason why we do not furnish Telephone contact.
 
Q. What happens if I encounter problem with my reservation upon checking-in?
A.
It is advisable for you to quote your confirmation number if you were given one but if you were not, it would be advisable for you to print out the confirmation letter and bring along.
 
Q. What do I need upon checking-in ?
A. If you are given a confirmation number please quote it during checking- in and if you do not it would be advisable for you to print out the confirmation letter and bring along.
 
Q. How far ahead should I make the reservations?
A. At least 72 hours before arrival date.
 
Q. Is it advantages for us to book early ?
A.
Yes it would as most of the time we are always fully booked. In order not to get disappointed please make your booking as early as possible.
 
Q. During the reservation I gave my credit card details but upon checking in I decide to pay cash. Is this possible ?
A.
Yes this is possible. We do not collect payment online. We do not deduct from your credit until you arrive at the hotel/resort, the credit card details is merely to guarantee your reservation only. You may pay cash upon check in instead.
 
Q. What are the means for us to guarantee our booking ?
A.
To guarantee your booking we would request for your credit card details. For those without credit card details we would instruct then to make a cash deposit into the house’s bank account. Please indicate in the Reservation Form that you wish to pay by Cash.
 
Q. Which would you prefer us to use to guarantee our reservation, by Credit Card or Cash Deposit ?
A.
Depending where you are from, if you are from Overseas we would prefer Credit Card due to the troublesome procedures of having to go to the nearest compatible banks to make the cash deposit. To make your reservation and confirmation process easier and faster we would prefer Credit Card.
 
Q. If we do not have a Credit Card can we make our reservations via your Online Reservation Form and what are the procedures ?
A.
Yes you can make your reservations via our Online Reservation Form. The procedures would be as follows. You are to fill up our Online Reservation Form and please indicate to us that you are paying by Cash. We shall give you further instruction on how to make your Cash Deposit into our hotel/resort Bank Account during the confirmation stages.
 
Q. Do you collect payment during the Reservation stages ?
A.
No we do not collect payment during the reservations stages. During reservation stage we need your credit card details for the main reason to guarantee your reservation.
   
   
   
Cancellation Policy
 
Q. How do I change or cancel my reservations ?
A.
Through the telephone, facsimile or e-mail. Please specify your Confirmation Number, Name, Hotel/Resort, Check In Date and Check Out Date. We would prefer by e-mail as it is faster to do so.
 
Q. What is you hotel/resort's Cancellation Policy and what are the penalty if we defaulted ?
A.
Our Cancellation Policy and Penalty Charges if any, are contained within this website either on the Accommodation or Room & Rates or Promotional Packages Page. Please look for these information within this site.

Q. What credit card types are accepted for guarantee/deposit or payment at your hotel/resort ?
A. Any major credit card is acceptable here.

 

Q. Do your hotel/resort accept Visa Electron Card ?
A. No we do not accept Visa Electron Card.
 
Q. When do I have to include my credit card number?
A. When you fill up our Secured Online Reservation Form to guarantee your reservations.
 
Q. Is it safe to use my credit card?
A. Yes, Our Secured Online Reservation Forms are encrypted.

 
Q. Why do you need my credit card number and expiry date?
A. To guarantee the reservation during peak period or late arrival.
   
   
 
Rooms & Rates
 
Q. Based on the rates offered on your website, is it possible for us to ask for special discount ?
A.
Rates portray on this website are our Internet Promotional Rates. It is the discounted rates meant for Internet booking only. Only bookings made via this website are entitled to these Internet Rates.
 
Q. What about special discounts?
A. No discount will be given based on these Internet Promotional Rates. Please look for our Promotional Packages if any. It would be cheaper.
 
Q. We are Airlines Staffs, are we entitled to Airlines Rates?
A.
We do not have rates for Airlines staffs, please make booking through your respective airlines for rates accorded to the respective airlines if any. Our rates are Promotional Internet rates.
 
Q. We are Malaysian Government Staff, are we entitled to special rates ?
A.
No. Our rates are special Internet Promotional rates. Please check with the respective department if there are any special rates accorded to Malaysian Government staffs.
 
Q.
We are Government Employees of a Foreign Government, are we entitled for a special rates ?
A.
No. We do not have any special rates for Government Employees from a foreign government.
 
Q. What are the check-in & checkout times for a room?
A. Check-in time is 2.00 p.m and check out time is at 12.00 p.m.
 
Q. What is the earliest time I can check-in into the hotel room ? We will be arriving at the hotel/resort early in the morning?
A.
Our normal Check-In time is 2.00pm. Our earliest Check-In time is 12.00 noon. Early check-in are subject to availability of rooms.
 
Q. Do you have Baby Cot ?
A. Yes we have baby cot and we provide baby cot free of charge. Please enquire at the reception upon check-in.
 
Q. We will be arriving at 5.00 am in the morning, if we check-in at this time, do you consider this as 1 night?
A. Yes. Our new day starts at 6.00 am.
 
Q. Our flight home is at 12.00 am, we would like to check out late at 8.00pm, What is your rate for late check out?
A. The normal room rates available on the website applies.

 
Q.
We will be arriving at the Hotel at roughly around 3.00am, so can we check in at that time?
A.
Yes, but you shall be charged in accordance to the rates shown on this website. Please indicate in your reservation form your arrival time.
 
Q.
We are aware that your check out time is 12.00 noon but due to our late flight, we wish to stay on until 3.00pm. Is this chargeable ?
A.
Late check out until 3.00 pm are usually not chargeable but is always subject to availability of rooms. Please indicate in your reservation form as we may be able to accommodate your request free-of-charge if room are available.

We are aware that your check in time is at 2.00 pm, but we would like to check in at 10.00 am, is this chargeable ?
A.

Q. Is there a hotel shuttle service to/from the airport?
A.
Yes we do have our Airport Transfer Vehicle but it is chargeable. Please indicate in the reservation form that you require the Airport transfers. We shall give you the quotation for Airport Transfer during the confirmation of your bookings.

 
Q. Which is cheaper, your Airport Transfer or the Public Transport ?
A. The public transport is obviously cheaper.

Q. What are the facilities offered at your hotel ?
A.

Q. Do we need adaptors or transformers for our electrical devices?
A.
If you are from Asians countries, adaptors or transformer are not needed but advisable to carry with you as some electrical voltage may differ. In Malaysia, the electricity runs on 240 volts with 50-cycle system.

Q. Is there a speed limit on the Malaysian roads and are seat belts required?
A.
Speed limits vary on each road. The normal speed limit on the highway is 110 km/hr. Speed limit signboards are available for reference. Please do not exceed the speed limit. Seat belts are required for the driver and the front seat passengers.

 
Q. Do we need a Malaysian Driving Permit to drive in Malaysia.
A.
If you carry a valid International Driving License, you may not require a Malaysian driving license. However, please check with the Malaysian Road and Transport Department for further clarification.

Q. Will we be driving on the same side of the road as in U.S.A ?
A. No. In Malaysia we drive on the left side of the road.
 
Q. How much can I take currency back to the US tax-free?
A.
Under the Travelers Declaration regulation, permitted currency limits are as follows : A resident and a non-resident is permitted to carry into and out of Malaysia, RM notes not exceeding RM1,000 per person. There is no limit on the amount of foreign currency notes or traveler’s cheques carried into Malaysia by resident and a non-resident. A resident is permitted to carry out of Malaysia, foreign currency notes including traveller's cheques, not exceeding RM10,000 equivalent per person. A non-resident is permitted to carry out of Malaysia, foreign currency notes including traveller's cheques, not exceeding the amount brought in.
 
Q. What is the legal drinking age?
A. 18 years old.

 
Q. Are there any restriction of drinking alcohol in Malaysia.
A.
Throughout Malaysia consumption alcohol is allowed except muslims are not allowed to drink in public in the state of Kelantan and Terengganu. Most of the hotels/resorts in Kelantan and Terengganu do not serve alcohol. Please check with the front counter for more info on this matter.
